Fukuoka

My family and I spent a week in the most populated city on the island of Kyushu, Japan. We found beauty and simplicity in busy temples, seaside parks, modern castles, and the biggest reclining Buddha statue in the world. Fukuoka was quiet during the New Year's Celebration and its peace brought my family tranquility and joy in celebrating big holidays with small groups full of meaning and gratitude for another year.
